"Going to see Keith is always a highlight of my weekend. He makes lessons enjoyable and always has great analogies to get his points across. Another thing I like is that Keith makes all of his students have a notebook so he can write about topics that were discussed during lessons, as well as things to work towards. The notebook helps me know what I have to practice when I'm at home, but it also shows how much I've done, and how much Keith has helped me improve. Being a high school student, I can get very stressed with the insane amount of homework I get, but I can honestly say going to lessons with Keith helps relieve that stress and always puts me in a better mood. Taking lessons with Keith is definitely worth the investment."

"As an adult beginner amateur musician, I joined a community orchestra and band to experience what it would be like to play in a group ensemble. Initially, the music repertoire seemed overwhelming. Upon bringing the music to my lessons, Keith seemed to intuitively know what parts were difficult for the learning instrumentalist. Having been in the position of a music student before, he knows the technical challenges the music student must face in the orchestral and band compositions, and through individually tailored instruction in private lessons, helps the student to effectively develop strategies to overcome those challenges."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Keith. As a busy adult, his flexibility in scheduling is fantastic. Plus, I really value reconnecting with my artistic side. Each week we take some time to forget the stresses of work and explore music together. I can't recommend lessons with him highly enough!"

"The 3 years working and learning from Keith have been some of the best times I have had as an aspiring musician. We’ve worked not only with music but with life as well. Going to Keith I know I can be myself and always be comfortable to play my oboe with confidence and fun.
Keith has always been patient and understanding when I miss a lesson, and he was a great resource when it came to college and auditioning for colleges. He is not only a great teacher, whom I learned from, he is also a great friend and person. He shows me that music is not just performing but a connection to your inner self." - Paul, 18 |
